Meet The Press asked Democratic House of Representatives Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) if he would vote to certify the election results, and his answer spoke volumes about the Republican Party's election denialism.

Jeffries said when Peter Alexander asked if he would vote to certify the 2024 election results: “Sure,
that has always been the case, because in America the peaceful transfer of power is sacred. That's one of the reasons why many Americans, Democrats, independents and traditional Republicans, are concerned about the election denialism or denial that we've seen coming from the other side of the aisle. I am hopeful that this will be a campaign that focuses on these issues, and that Democrats will continue to articulate our vision of solving problems for hardworking American taxpayers to create a bright future for all.”

Jeffries revealed that questions about certifying the election are not difficult for people who support democracy.
Republicans are struggling to answer the question of whether they will vote to certify the election because they don't want to admit they don't support democracy. Whether or not members of Congress will vote to certify a presidential election should not be a question. The founders never intended for democracy to be up for debate, but Republicans are choosing to have a debate about whether the United States remains a democracy, which is why their refusal to answer whether they vote to certify the elections is an attack on democracy.
