Conservative columnist Sean Davis calls on Republicans to draw up lists of Democrats who could be prosecuted and jailed | The Gateway expert

Sean Davis is a columnist and CEO of the conservative outlet The Federalist.

After the verdict was handed down today in Trump's mock trial in New York, Davis suggested that Republicans should start drawing up lists of Democrats to be prosecuted and sent to prison.

He's not kidding. He suggests that the right should hit back twice as hard.

The liberal outlet Mediaite was shocked by this:

Federalist CEO Calls on Republicans to Draw Up Lists of Democrats to 'Put in Jail' After Trump's Verdict

Sean Davis, the CEO and co-founder of the right-wing website The Federalist, called on Republicans to draw up lists of Democrats to “put in jail” in a social media post in response to Donald Trump's conviction Thursday evening.

“In 2016, the presidential race was decided based on candidates releasing lists of potential Supreme Court nominees,” Davis wrote. “In 2024, I want to see lists of which Democratic officials will be put in jail.”

“This is what happens when you cross the Rubicon,” he added.

“If you are a state AG/Prosecutor with original criminal jurisdiction, you better draw charges, indictments and arrest warrants for every Democratic official involved in this insane, treasonous attack on our entire constitutional republic,” he mused in another post.

Read Davis' tweets below:

Democrats must feel pain about their decision to do this.

It's the only thing they understand.
