The hugely popular social media platform TikTok continues to improve its user experience by introducing new tools and features from time to time. Recently, the company joined the AI race and introduced a handful of AI-powered tools to boost its advertising business. Now it is has announced a new platform called TikTok Studio. The new platform will replace the Creator tools in the TikTok app, with the exception of the Creator Center web app.
TikTok Studio replaces Creator Tools and Creator Center
According to TikTok, the TikTok Studio app is a “comprehensive creation and management platform equipped with tools that creators can use to create, edit, upload, manage and analyze their TikTok account and content performance.” The new platform rreplaces Creator tools in the TikTok application, along with the Creator Center web app. However, content creators will still get access to the full package, tools and resources on the tiktok.com/tiktokstudio website.
The new The TikTok Studio application offers easy-to-use tools, apart from centralized operational capabilities. These are touted to efficiently streamline the content workflow. Existing users can use their TikTok account to log into the app and upload, film, edit and even post to TikTok directly from TikTok Studio.
The new platform also has many other tools such as automatic subtitles, photo editor and automatic clipping. These will help content creators polish their content with professional finesse. Creators can also view and manage the posts they've published and scheduled. They can respond to comments by filtering and searching for specific comments within the same app.
TikTok Studio also allows content creators to find useful analytics to target their content to the right audience. Notably, the platform also has a variety of monetization programs. It provides various insights into the performance of the creator's account and content, consolidating new growth opportunities.
The TikTok Studio is currently available for Android and desktop, and will soon be available for iOS devices
The TikTok Studio app is available to all content creators who are 18 years or older. The Android app is available for download in beta from the Google Play Store and for desktops in select regions. The company will expand the availability of the new content creation app to more users and for iOS devices in the coming weeks.
