'Run For Modi', 'Flash Mob' events in London to strengthen support for PM Modi

Overseas Friends of BJP UK (UP Chapter) organized a wonderful “Run for Modi” event in the vibrant city of London on Sunday.

Despite being billed as a 'Run for Modi', the event took the form of a leisurely walk, symbolizing solidarity and support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's re-election campaign. The Indian community in Britain showed unwavering support for the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, making the event a resounding success, according to a press release from the organizing committee.

Despite the drizzly weather, the event had an overwhelming turnout: more than 500 enthusiastic participants took part in the walk. The scenic route started from Westminster Pier, passed through the heart of London and culminated at the iconic Tower Bridge. Participants, adorned in vibrant shades, exuded positivity and fervor as they marched in unison, echoing their support for Prime Minister Modi, the release said.

The highlight of the event was a captivating flash mob set against the backdrop of the majestic London Bridge, captivating bystanders and participants alike. The vibrant and energetic display epitomized the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the Indian community in Britain and underlined their continued support for the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, the report said.

Anand Arya (Vice President, OFBJP UK) spoke about the event and expressed his deep gratitude to the Indian community for their overwhelming participation and ardent support. Suresh Mangalgiri (GS OFBJP UK) commented: “The 'Run for Modi' event is an example of the Indian community's deep-rooted admiration and loyalty towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

“Despite the adverse weather conditions, the enthusiasm and spirit of the participants was truly commendable,” said Darshan Grewal, vice president of OFBJP UK, according to the press release.

The resounding success of the 'Run for Modi' event is a testament to the Indian community's continued support and enthusiasm for Prime Minister Modi's vision for a prosperous and progressive India.
