French President Emmanuel Macron, a globalist poster boy and former Rothschild banker, likes to play emperor “but his empire appears to be falling apart,” according to a British magazine.
Before taking part in the state visit to Germany – the first by a French president since the year 2000, Macron visited some of his troubled areas in the Indian Ocean and the South Pacific.
We want to call them colonies, but France calls them 'departments', parts of a republic that is 'indivisible'. Yes correct.
It probably takes another postcolonial country like Britain to understand how 'Macron cherishes the fantasy that his remote colonies are actually just part of France itself'.
Macron's first visit was to riot-ravaged Mayotte, now overrun by African refugees hated by locals.
The spectator reported:
“Few French people could find Mayotte on a map and the economic contribution to the country is negative. Conceit aside, it is incomprehensible why France insists on flying its tricolor here. Like much of la France d'outre mer, it is a bottomless pit into which the French pour subsidies for benefits that seem minimal.”
After the usual colonial promises, Macron took the presidential plane to New Caledonia, where eight people were seated, including two gendarmeshave been killed in ethnic riots this month – and there is a growing independence movement.

This is particularly urgent as we are just days away from the all-important European Parliament elections – one in which right-wing parties in both countries will make big gains.

Germans held a state banquet for Macron at Bellevue Palace in Berlin on Sunday evening, before the two presidents traveled to the eastern city of Dresden today.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday between Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and ministers from both countries at a government guesthouse outside Berlin.
Germany and France, the engines of European integration, are plagued by differences in policies and emphasis between the two neighbors on multiple issues.
“This was evident earlier this year from differing positions on the question of whether Western countries should rule out sending ground troops to Ukraine. Both countries are strong supporters of Kiev.
Macron said on Sunday that there have often been problems in French-German relations in recent decades, but that “France and Germany have achieved extraordinary things together – they have been the core of this Europe.” He contrasted this with the war history of the countries against each other until 1945.

After all the fear-mongering and warmongering, it is very ironic that, after saying that the “fear of a changing world” is fueling the rise of the far right in Europe, Macron will receive the “Westphalia Prize”, a private sector award 'recognizes individuals or institutions for their efforts towards sustainable peace'.
