Officers continue to investigate an alleged battery Kanye West against a man in a fancy LA hotel are about to close the case without filing any charges, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department started an investigation over claims that Kanye punched a man at the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Blvd.

Sources close to Kanye claimed the man he hit would have pushed or grabbed his wife, Bianca Censori. Kanye and Bianca left the scene before police arrived at the hotel.
The alleged victim was not transported to hospital and received no treatment for his injuries. Law enforcement sources said police wanted to speak with Kim Kardashian's ex-husband about the incident.

As we previously reported, the alleged victim is Mark or Jonnie Houston. Mark and Jonnie are twins who own a series of restaurants in Los Angeles.
An insider claimed that the brother who hit Kanye was not the brother who had the altercation with Bianca. TMZ reported that Kanye hit the wrong twin in the head twice.

Sources close to the case revealed that the LAPD has attempted to contact Kanye and the twins, but has not yet heard from the parties.
The twins initially spoke with Chateau police and filed a report. However, they did not communicate with police in the days following the incident.

Law enforcement sources said they believed Kanye and the twins were in contact about a possible resolution of the case.
TMZ reported that police collected video from the hotel that does not support Kanye's claims that one of the twins groped Bianca. Police sources claimed that the video showed that it was simply an innocent collision.

Because the parties are not talking to police, the case will be forwarded to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, which will decide whether to file charges against Kanye.
Last year, the LAPD investigated Kanye for an incident with a paparazzi in which he threw the man's phone. No charges were ever filed regarding the incident.
