If you use ad blockers, YouTube videos will now be skipped to the end

The number of users using ad blockers for websites and YouTube is increasing daily. However, Googling doesn't want this to happen and is taking all possible steps to address ad blockers. YouTube has tried several ways to ban ad blockers. Some users have reported that YouTube is now skip the videos to the end for those who use an adblocker.

Adblocker makes YouTube videos jump to the end

YouTube takes strict measures to prevent users from using ad blockers. The company has tried many methods such as displaying a warning message, blocking the ad blockers and many more. The tech giant is now taking another step to prevent users from using ad blockers.

A plethora of users have reported that YouTube skips videos without reason until the end. Playing the video also does not work. Many believed this was a bug and nothing else. However, it was later discovered that only users with ad blockers were affected.

That's not all. Users also report this skip the video to certain parts does not work either. The videos get stuck in a reload loop. It is unclear whether this is an intentional action by YouTube or some other cause.

It could be a problem with the ad blockers themselves

There is a strong belief that this is a move by YouTube to combat ad blockers. The platform wants its users to switch to YouTube Premium or encounter ads. However, due to a lack of official confirmation, the real reason is still unknown. Another possible reason could be the ad blockers themselves. Recent changes to the backend may cause ad blockers to malfunction, causing videos to automatically skip to the end. There's a good chance both will happen.

There was a similar case a few months ago where ad blockers caused videos to load slowly. Many users accused YouTube of this. YouTube was later cleared of involvement.
