GOP Senator Tom Cotton Addresses Pro-Hamas College Agitators (VIDEO) | The Gateway expert

Republican Senator Tom Cotton rose “This week” on ABC with host Jonathan Karl earlier on Sunday.

Senator Cotton had said university administrators should have involved law enforcement early on instead of waiting until things got out of hand. He also said that the students participating in these encampments should be treated with contempt.

“These students on campuses deserve our contempt. They also deserve our ridicule,” Cotton said.

“Liberal administrators and liberal politicians refused to send the police to clear them out from the very first day they set up their tents,” Cotton continued.

Senator Cotton went on to say that foreign student agitators should have their visas revoked and that Biden has taken no action on that.

“Where is the Joe Biden administration demanding that universities turn over the names of foreign students here on visas, revoke those visas and deport them,” said Senator Cotton.

“We should not have tolerated this for a moment. You have Jewish students who have been attacked on campus, Jewish students who have been told it's not safe for you to go home,” Senator Cotton continued.

Watch:

Jonathan Karl had asked Senator Cotton if he would be Trump's running mate. His response was that speculation about Trump's VP choice did not help.

“I don't think it's particularly helpful to Donald Trump,” Senator Cotton said.

“Would you be willing to serve as his running mate if asked?” Karel asked.

“Jon, it's not helping. What Donald Trump is focused on is winning this election. What I'm focused on is helping him win and making sure Republicans win Congress,” Senator Cotton continued.
