Royce Whitea former one NBA star-turned-GOP political candidatewas recently accused of misusing more than $100,000 in campaign funds for strip club visits and basketball app purchases, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The shocking revelation this week came nearly two years after White ran unsuccessfully for Congress in Minnesota.

Although the candidate failed to make it to the state's 2022 primary, he recently received the Republican Party's endorsement to take on the Democratic Party. Amy Klobuchar before the Senate in November.
But flash forward to this week, and The everyday beast found that in 2022, White allegedly spent more than $100,000 in campaign funds on several questionable purchases — including at least one $1,200 purchase for an all-nude strip club in Miami, Florida called Gold Rush Cabaret.
According to the newspaper, a review of White's 2022 primary campaign reports also “revealed numerous items that puzzled legal experts.”
While the $1,200 splurge at the Miami strip club certainly raised eyebrows, there were also several alleged purchases totaling more than $100,000 in “mysterious wire transfers and checks reported to have been paid to the campaign.”

White reportedly spent more than $100,000 in campaign funds on several questionable purchases in 2022.
Some of those mysterious expenses reportedly included “hefty bills at racy nightspots,” “getaways at fancy hotels in at least seven states,” “thousands of dollars in limousine services” and “unexplained cash withdrawals.”
The Daily Beast reported that other alleged expenses included “eye-popping purchases at electronics, sporting goods, clothing and musical instrument stores,” as well as several purchases for the “DribbleUp smart basketball training app” that White himself reportedly admitted “may have been personal.” usage.”

Brendan Fischera campaign finance law specialist, indicated that White could face criminal charges if the allegations against him are proven to be legitimate.
“We're not talking about small things,” said Fischer, also deputy director of the watchdog group Documented, explained. “This takes us well beyond the realm of FEC fines.”

Brendan Fischer, a specialist in campaign finance law, indicated that White could face criminal charges if the allegations against him are proven to be legitimate.
“This sounds a lot like the kinds of things people go to prison for,” he added.
Meanwhile, White dismissed the potential seriousness of the allegations against him and challenged the Federal Election Commission to “fine” his 2022 congressional campaign over the suspected financial discrepancies.

“If the FEC wants to fine us, that's fine,” White told The Daily Beast on Thursday. “There are much bigger political campaign scams.”

“The reality is, now more than ever, we need people who can't be bought,” White said earlier this week after receiving the endorsement of the Minnesota Republican Party.
“They have no price,” he added shortly before the new allegations against him came to light, “and I can't stress that enough.”
