Dean McDermott may think his new girlfriend is “magical,” but his followers believe otherwise.

Dean was married to Tori Spelling for almost 18 years before filing for divorce in March.
McDermott got dressed and took Calo to the elusive members-only Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He marked the moment by sharing the first photos with his other half on social media Instagram officially.
The Canadian-born actor wore his best pinstripe suit for the occasion, with Calo donning a matching dress to show off her curves.

McDermott went IG official with Lily Calo, 32, on Wednesday.

“Sometimes you just have to put on your best clothes and take your girl to The Magic Castle. Because she is magical!!” he shared, adding the hashtag “My love.” Spelling only filed for divorce from McDermott in March.
RadarOnline.com broke the story – he demands the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress pays him alimony. He also wants joint custody of the five children they share.

While McDermott and Spelling are embroiled in a bitter divorce battle, she supports her ex and Calo's relationship. Spelling even dropped a line on their Instagram debutwith the text 'I love you both.'
But not everyone was equally receptive to McDermott's love bubble.

His followers ripped him a new one in the comments section, revealing that they are #TeamTori.

“How long will she last?” wrote one commenter. “What's your name dude?” added another. “So disrespectful to your wife (you're not divorced yet) but especially your kids. First your family with Mary Jo… now Tori and her kids. For God's sake be a man,” a third replied. “Tori you're free!!! Weeeee,” a fourth joked.
Others sided with McDermott, saying that if Spelling is okay with his relationship, then everyone else should be too.

“Tori and Dean proudly support each other. That's all that matters. No need to talk about their situation. Cheers,” one supporter replied.
“Funny how everyone is so critical of someone they don't know in real life. I can't imagine how you all interact or talk about your friends. We only know what the stories tell us, Tori has a side and Dean has one side, then the The truth is somewhere in the middle. Love and let it go and be nice for goodness sake,” shared a second.

Dean is seeking spousal support and joint custody of their children.

McDermott and Calo became public broke up in October, just three months after splitting from Spelling. His new love is not in the industry. She is a senior account manager at Conscious Community Global and the two are rumored to already be living together.
