Trump's popularity has risen following his mock conviction in New York, according to a new poll.
It just shows that the vast majority of Americans know what the trial was about and disapprove of the Democrats' fascist tactics.
There will be more backfire to come, but this is a good start.

Support for Trump skyrockets in new poll after conviction
If the Democratic Party thought that convicting former President Donald Trump would cause his millions of supporters to abandon him, they better think twice.
He even received a six-point increase in approval after being found guilty of 34 charges of falsifying company records.
According to a poll from the Daily Mail and JL Partners, 22 percent of voters now view Trump more favorably, while only 16 percent view him more negatively.
The poll was taken just hours after 12 jurors convicted Trump in an unprecedented and politically motivated move.
The poll also found that Trump had a net positive impact of four points among independent voters — who could ultimately determine the outcome of the November election.
The man who administered the survey said:
“Our rapid poll of a representative sample of likely voters shows that for most Americans, the trial has not changed their deeply held views about Trump,” he said. “But among those open to changing their minds, people feel more positive by a margin of 6 points. That is outside the poll's margin of error and we say it is significant.”
“It also applies to independent voters. Look at the statements and it's clear why: people feel it was a politically motivated trial and see Trump as a 'fighter' against what they see as injustice,” Johnson continued.
