Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tried that smear Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito published a nasty tweet earlier this week that blew up in her face.

As readers of The Gateway Pundit know, Judge Alito and his wife have been brutally attacked by the left-wing media and the Democratic Party because his wife flew the American flag upside down at their property in January 2021. This was around the same time as the J6 protests.

One May article in the New York Times tried to link Alito to so-called “election deniers” without evidence. Democrats immediately seized on the story, demanding that Alito recuse himself from all cases involving the protesters and also promising to investigate him.

Americans have used the inverted or inverted American flag to protest the government decades. Since President Trump's conviction in Manhattan's kangaroo court, the inverted flag has been a calling card for many other Americans, including critics of the 45th president.

MTG decided to post a photo of the inverted flag in an X-post on Thursday in response to Trump's condemnation. When AOC noticed she had a snarky response ready.

“Who taught you that, Samuel Alito?” she wrote.

Conservatives let her know on social media with a series of colorful and brutal responses.

Like FoxNews notesAOC itself demanded an investigation into Alito over the inverted flag last month during an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes.

“Samuel Alito has identified himself with the same people who invaded the Capitol on January 6, and now presides over lawsuits that will have major consequences for those who attended that rally,” she lamented. “And while this is the threat to our democracy, Democrats have a responsibility to defend our democracy. And in the Senate we have gavels.”

“Subpoenas should be issued,” she continued. “There should be active investigations.”
