Netflix is building a theme park in Roblox! Get ready for Nextworld

Netflix just announced Nextworld, a digital theme park powered by Roblox. The latter is one of the most popular games available thanks to its almost infinite creation possibilities. There are a lot of games and experiences created on Roblox by the community. Now the world's most popular streaming service is joining the party.

Nextworld is currently in early access. It's a Roblox-based world themed around some of Netflix's most popular content. People get access to areas, games and experiences related to their favorite shows.

Nextworld is a Roblox-powered theme park for fans of Netflix shows

As reported by Engadget, Nextworld currently has games and activities based on Stranger Things, One Piece, Cobra Kai, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory and Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon saga. All activities are presented in the form of a theme park to explore. It also looks like there will be a lot of Easter eggs to discover.

The games initially available are of different genres and seem extensive enough not to get boring quickly. Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High, for example, focuses on survival with horror undertones. Then One Piece: East Blue Brawls is a fighting simulator that fans of the live-action version of the popular manga/anime will love.

Each player has a personal space called Fan Pod, which is customizable. You can obtain collectible items and accessories to personalize Fan Pod as you play, overcome challenges, find Easter eggs, etc.

Nextworld will have a social component with events and more

The social factor will also be important, allowing you to communicate with other users. This includes watching content on Netflix together through the space called 'Streamship'. The company is even preparing “premieres and viewing parties” that will take place at Nextworld via Streamship.

You can access the Netflix and Roblox theme park from any platform where the latter is available. This includes consoles, PCs and even mobile devices.
