Kim Delaney accused of 'guzzling' and smelling alcohol in alleged hit-and-run

Kim Delaney was accused of crashing into a motorcyclist and fleeing the scene.

She was charged in January over the alleged incident.

As this outlet reported, Dzhamal Badalov Delaney sued in January accused her of driving erratically on Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista, California, before allegedly hitting his motorcycle and sending it flying into the intersection. He also claimed she fled the scene.

The actress, known for her role as Diane Russell in ABC's police drama, was beaten with a charge of property damage, a misdemeanor, over the incident involving Badalov, who claimed she fled the scene.

In the latest filing on May 13, Badalov exposed Delaney's alleged condition, and his allegations are disturbing.

“Witnesses observed Defendant approaching the red light at the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Boise Avenue in Mar Vista, California 90066. At the intersection stood Plaintiff DZHAMAL BADALOV (“Plaintiff”) who was completely stationary on his motorcycle due to the red light in front of him. Defendant quickly approached Plaintiff and struck the rear of Plaintiff's motorcycle, causing Plaintiff to be thrown from his motorcycle and onto the street,” the legal documents state.

She was ordered to complete a drunk driving program and 50 hours of community service.

Badalov claimed that witnesses rushed to him and Delaney immediately after the collision and “noted that Defendant appeared to be intoxicated because Plaintiff could not walk properly; her eyes seemed unable to stop moving in all directions as if she couldn't control them. “

He claimed: “Her balance looked shaky” and “she was slurring as she tried to speak.” Badalov claimed that “a strong odor of alcohol” was coming from her and the black Mercedes she was driving.

The motorcyclist claimed that she “drove off erratically” after the alleged accident, “struck the concrete median as she fled.”

But her alleged behavior didn't stop there.

“Shortly thereafter, the defendant did not exchange her information with the plaintiff, got back into her vehicle and drove away erratically, hitting the concrete median as she fled,” he stated.

Delaney asked the judge in February to dismiss the case and denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
